Part-Time Supervisor
(Eats, 25 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh & Eats Duddingston, Edinburgh)

Salary: £11.00 per hour PLUS Bonus based on business hitting its targets

7.25 to 29.75 hours per week (Tue 1500-2230 / Wed 1500-2230 / Thu 1500-223 / Sun 0745-1500). Just confirm how many days you want to do!

Manager (Eats, Duddingston Park South, Edinburgh)

Eats is looking for a happy, positive go-getter to join our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our Drive-Thru by making sure the business runs efficiently to our systems and profitability.

Main Duties

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supervising team members, ensuring that they are providing a positive customer experience, and are adhering to established procedures in all aspects of their duties.
  • Developing positive relationships with team members by understanding and addressing individual motivations, needs and concerns.
  • Creating a positive working environment and promoting the values and culture of the Company, which are reflective of the company brand.
  • Delivering a high level of customer service, responding accordingly to any issues raised. 
  • Overseeing activities, ensuring that top quality products are provided.  
  • Building your team up to be the best versions of themselves and to be able to do an excellent job.
  • Inducting and training new members of staff and providing regular feedback in relation to performance.
  • Conducting regular staff training to ensure enhanced performances and quality delivery at all times.  
  • Ensuring the Drive-Thru operates efficiently, delegating tasks accordingly to aid smooth operations. 
  • Manage Staff Rota updates required for the Drive-Thru to run smoothly including; shift swaps, holidays, availability changes, and work-related issues. 
  • Managing annual leave process.
  • Ensuring sales objectives are met through data management, trend analysis, communication, and bringing ideas from your findings to the marketing team to improve sales.
  • Working continuously towards achieving your KPI Targets and Sales Targets.
  • Ensuring there is adequate stock of supplies and maintaining inventory.  Order supplies as required. Manage stock, and coordinate with vendors and order supplies, as needed (e.g., takeaway cups, coffee, milk, and other ingredients).
  • Monitoring cleanliness and state of repair of the unit.
  • Identifying ways to improve our procedures and policies and liaising with Head Office accordingly.
  • Keyholding responsibilities including daily checks, opening, and closing down and ensuring the building is always secure and safe.
  • Responding as an emergency contact to the fire/burglar alarm. 
  • Removing all monies from the registers, closing them down, and finalising all events within the software. 
  • Managing the cash handling and banking procedures. 
  • Reconciling each till in the software against actual cash in hand and preparing required change for the next business day. 
  • Minor till adjustments and updates (training provided)
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety policies, and completion and updating of risk assessments.
  • Managing and control risks from use of hazardous chemicals (COSHH).
  • Weekly meetings with operations manager to discuss the businesses performance and how it can improve

Salary:

  • £24,492.00 per annum
  • 39.25 hours per week (inc weekend work)
  • 28 days holiday per year

Measures of Success – How will you know you’re doing a good job?

We view the business’s performance through a dashboard of numbers which, broadly speaking, cover all areas of the business such as:

  • Financial Measures – Revenue, costs, overheads, profit.
  • Sales and Marketing Measures – Visitor numbers, visitor frequency, average spend.
  • Operational Measures – Quality of product, happiness & performance of the team, safety checks, maintenance checks, observation checks.
  • HR Measures – Team turnover rate, staff training.

To succeed in these areas, you will:

  • Achieve the KPI’s as set out in your KPI tracker.
  • Be expected to fully hold yourself accountable for your team’s achievements and take full responsibility for the tasks and actions of you and your team required to achieve them.

Part-Time Supervisor

Eats Duddingston, Edinburgh)

We are looking for a part-time Supervisor to work at Eats Drive-Thru (Duddingston).

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and efficient individual to work as part of our team.

You will be focused on delivering a premium customer experience from the moment a customer places their order to enjoying their freshly made food and drinks, every time they visit

We’re looking for a part-time Supervisor to join Eats who is passionate about the hospitality profession and are looking to grow with us. As part of your role, you will be responsible for supervising the team and preparing takeaway orders to deliver the ultimate Eats experience. Alongside this, you will be responsible for preparing delivery orders for customers via third-party delivery apps, with a key eye for detail for every order that leaves our door.

At Eats, we will provide you with procedures and guidelines and expect a self-starter attitude to provide the highest standard of experience from day one. As part of the team, we will work with you to develop your confidence and skills with training throughout your role.

Previous experience of making coffees using commercial machines and serving food is required, although additional lessons will be provided – including in-house training on how to be an exceptional barista. Management experience is required.

Salary: £11.00 per hour PLUS Bonus based on business hitting its targets

Shifts: 1 – 4 Available your choice
